The ideal candidate would possess the following:

1) University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Management/Admin.

Typical duties would include:

• Ensuring that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Withholding Payments, Harmonized Services Tax, and WSIB.
• Maintaining timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Reconciling bank and investment accounts
• Managing cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts in accordance with the policy
• Overseeing the bookkeeping function, including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Overseeing management of leases, contracts and other financial commitments
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation.
• Managing the acquisition of capital assets and ensuring that assets are properly recorded, amortized and disposed of as appropriate.
• Preparing all supporting information for the annual review and liaising with external reviewers as necessary.
• Ensuring accurate and timely financial statements are prepared in accordance with contract agreements with funders.
• Documenting and maintaining complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Maintaining financial records for each project in a manner that facilitates management reports.
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, in consultation with the leadership team
• Reviewing monthly results and implementing monthly variance reporting
• Monitoring risk management policies and procedures to ensure that organizational risks are minimized.
• Negotiating with banks for lines of credit or other financial services as required and appropriate.

Service Manager
Forklift Repair Centre
This is a fulltime permanent position as a Service Manager directing 5-10 onsite mechanics, scheduling work , providing quotes to clients regarding repair costs, scheduling pickup and delivery of forklifts to clients, scheduling repairs onsite, breakdown response.

In this position you will be responsible for the following scope of work:

Duties include, but are not restricted to:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Service and Parts Department
Review and audit repair orders
Interact with customers and acquire new business
Work with Director to implement short, medium and long-term goals.
Track the performance of department, direct reports and staff
Participate as a member of the management team
Recommend changes to the organization and compensation and incentive plans to the Director.

Account Management Specialist Job Summary

The Account Management Specialist acts as the primary day-to-day contact for customers within an assigned customer account group which may include retail, durable goods, automotive, electronic commerce providers, etc. The Account Management Specialist will act as the primary liaison between the company and the customers, meeting customer expectations and working to resolve any issues for the customer. Once the on-boarding of these customers has occurred, the Account Management Specialist will monitor and report order acceptance, order maintenance and accessorial management by the use of various transportation management systems. The Account Management Specialist reports to the Manager, Account Management.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop a proactive relationship with the assigned customer accounts by resolution of issues and concerns in a timely manner and provide innovative solutions.
• Determine which accessorial charges can be billed and follow company process to successful conclusion, minimizing disputes, assisting in collections and working with Account Managers on solutions to reduce accessorial charges.
• Manage, monitor and report order acceptance, order maintenance and accessorial management by email, phone and use of various transportation management systems.
• Offer alternative transportation solutions as necessary by analyzing internal and external account metrics.
• Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure they receive the best product at the lowest possible cost; maximize margin, network efficiency and On-Time Performance (OTP).
• Communicate with shipper and consignee contacts regarding exception notification and problem resolution.
• Maximize profitability and reduce customer cost exposure by working with Operations to properly manage assets such as container pools.
• Maintain quality service by monitoring standards; advising supervisor of potential problems. Work with Manager, Account Management and Operations Group to address and resolve single load concerns in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or management preferred.

Scope of Position
The Quality Engineer is responsible for driving strategic quality initiatives while working directly with both internal and external customers. This position will drive systemic quality improvement throughout MHICA. The Process Quality Engineer has the responsibility to identify opportunities and provide leadership to make quality a competitive advantage for MHICA organization and its customers.
Position Summary
• Maintain and create indicator to monitor quality improvement process.
• Key role in customer audits, quality system audits, process product audits and effective corrective action closure.
• Identify and execute projects leading to standardization of inspection process and root cause analysis activities.

Selection Criteria
Education

• A strong quality background in aerospace industry, familiarity with aerospace parts and assemblies, manufacturing (machining) and assembly processes.
• CPE/CQA certification with ASQ would be an asset
Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in aerospace and/or automotive quality control/quality assurance with progressively increasing level of responsibility and demonstrated leadership role.
• Experience and knowledge regarding structure assembly process related to machined aircraft components, sheet metal and aircraft assembly inspection requirements
• Previous experience with Quality Management System AS 9100 Rev C requirements and process / product audit.
• Previous MRB experience preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis and problem solving methodologies
• Superior ability to read and understand technical drawings – GD&T.
• Good decision making skills and ability to interact with cross functional teams.

Our client is currently looking for a Production Supervisor to lead and direct our Production team.

Responsibilities include hiring, training and directing individuals who are performing entry level, factory work positions on one of our fast paced shifts. This is a management position, with hands-on responsibility and accountability for daily production flow and bottom line results. Additional duties include meeting daily productivity and quality requirements and maintaining inventory control. Maintaining safety in the plant is also a key responsibility - Production Supervisors are responsible to train partners on company safety policies, ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations, and emphasize a culture of safety at the location overall.

Responsibilities include hiring, training and directing individuals who are performing entry level, factory work positions on one of our fast paced shifts. This is a management position, with hands-on responsibility and accountability for daily production flow and bottom line results. Additional duties include meeting daily productivity and quality requirements and maintaining inventory control. Maintaining safety in the plant is also a key responsibility - Production Supervisors are responsible to train partners on company safety policies, ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations, and emphasize a culture of safety at the location overall.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Receive, review and analyze all incoming rate and RFP with particular attention to customer and prioritizing due dates from the carriers to ensure on-time completion and submission.
• Request clarification as needed to source competitive rates based on equipment specifications using existing and new carriers, taking into consideration customer needs, service expectations and corporate guidelines.
• Review for accuracy and submit completed RFP proposal to the Business Intelligence team with pricing details meeting time lines requested
• Using market knowledge and rate history, benchmark and/or negotiate competitive rates with carriers ensuring carrier capacity and long term rate commitment. Submit competitive base rates to Business Intelligence and/or Sales team and apply suggested margins as needed for TL and/or LTL skid pricing.
• Review Wheels dry and reefer accessorial programs with all carriers to ensure understanding and acceptance to provide consistency in rate application which includes monthly carrier fuel program.
• Develop and maintain FAK (freight all kind) LTL & TL dry and reefer domestic and cross border rate matrixes for use by Sales team including updating rates as well as terms and conditions as needed.
• Obtain and review competitive rates by carriers to secure new business opportunities.
• Provide accurate and timely responses to internal Wheels teams as well as external customers.
• Manage the rates mailbox to ensure all rate requests are quickly and properly actioned. Provide competitive spot rates with margin and/or provide alternate solutions if needed.
• Work with Intermodal team to provide alternate highway solutions for existing and potential opportunities as identified.
• Work closely with Brokerage, Dedicated and 3PL Operations teams for the execution of freight movement on awarded rates.
• Keep abreast of carrier industry trends, issues and marketable costs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Carriers to secure competitive pricing.
• Provide input on process improvements within the team.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Education and Industry Knowledge
• High school diploma.
• College Diploma / University Degree in Business, Logistics or International Trade is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years’ operations experience in the transportation/ logistics industry with exposure to a broad cross-section of rates, carriers and markets.
• Knowledge of fuel programs (i.e., FCA, Petro Canada Rack Rate, Breakthrough Fuel, etc.) and exposure to all-in pricing to obtain base rates plus fuel is an asset.
• Strong experience negotiating with North American carriers in the industry including cross border and domestic LTL/TL (Highway, Intermodal, Temperature Control, courier, white glove, Cross Border, and Domestic).
• Strong knowledge of North American geography.
• Good knowledge of carrier networks within North America with a focus on highway/cross border.

Technical Skills
