 Report 15 minutes before the start of a shift in order to receive instruction from existing Line Leaders, Production Supervisor and Quality Technician.
 Assign line positions to staff based on the merits of their skill level, provide all necessary training required to complete the assigned task, and ensure that all safety requirements are met (e.g.: safety shoes, no jewelry, etc). Have each staff sign off on the line clearance form.
 Take a count of all feeder stocks and ensure adequate product/components are available to run the line. Allowing 15 minutes for fork-driver to deliver feeder stock or corrugate requirements.
 Record receipt on the Accountability form (e.g.: count, lot and expiry). Initial the receiving control tag to indicate this has been recorded.
 Notify any lot code and expiry date changes to Quality Technician Assistant immediately so that lot code/expiry date labels and pallet tags can be removed from the line and new labels issued if required.
 Control the pallet and UPC/case labels at the line.
 Supervising the line to ensure that line is working to run shift output expectations.
 Identify bottlenecks on line and take corrective actions and notify Production Supervisor immediately with concerns or suggestions.
 Organize the cleanup of the area, including pulling feeder stock together at shift changes.
 Make sure that line is left clear and ready for the next shift (e.g.: empty garbage bins with bags, empty cardboard bins, compacting complete etc.)
 Able to work on the line when required or not running the line.
 Collect all UPC, case labels, pallet tags etc. and place in the Line tray as these will be re-issued between shifts by the Quality Technician.
 Count and mark the “receiving control tag” with the new count for all remaining feeder stock, document shift end counts on accountability form. Must do the reconciliation for all feeder stock used/damages/missing from incoming cases and submit paperwork to Quality Technician by shift end.
 Count any remaining corrugate, labels/stickers and accessories and update the tags/packaging with the closing counts at the end of each job. Indicate the closing counts on the disposition form and forward to the Quality Technician.
 Before any product is moved away from a line, ensure that Quality Technician has completed closing reconciliations and that pallets have been labeled with appropriate pallet tags communicating their status – e.g.: Good returns, Damages, Partial case etc.
 Time sheets to be completed (with downtime recorded) and submitted to the Team Leader at the end of the shift.

Machine Operator Assistant Job Duties Include:

The Machine Operator Assistant is generally responsible for all production operations on a continental night shift.

12) Reports any non-conformance immediately to Warehouse Manager
13) Keeps records regarding purchases of fuel and mileage and completes daily log/ run sheet
14) Knows, understands and implements safe work practices and procedures
15) Knows, understands and employs established rules and procedures for handling materials, equipment and processes
16) Reports any nonconformance to Manager and participates in any corrective or preventative action required
17) Ensures all payments received are delivered and signed for by the Finance Department
18) Practices quality assurance, checks orders and documentation for accuracy
19) Completes other tasks relevant to job as assigned by Manager

General Packer’s Job Responsibilities

1. Request product information for the Shift Foreman.
2. Unload parts (Blister, Trays, Scoops and Clamshells) from the Stacker
Magazine.
3. Stand End of the machine and cut formed sheets.
4. Strip Blister, Clamshells and Trays.
5. Check the quality of the products, and report any non conformance’s to the
Shift Foreman/Quality Inspectors.
6. According to work instructions on the job docket, all Blisters, Clamshells,
Trays, and Scoops must be weight and packed into bags and boxes/bins/bags
of boxes.
7. Close and tape up the bags, boxes or bins.
8. Label and palletize the bags, boxes, bins.
9. Load scrap into bins or grind. “DO NOT MIX ANY MATERIAL” ask Shift
Foreman for more information.
10.Keep machine and surrounding area clean and neat.
11.Assist Set-up person with tooling and roll changes.
12.Operate punch press machine and the turntable.
13.Operate Labeller
14.When Machines are not running Plant Supervisor or Shift Foreman may ask to
work in our around the plant.

Schedule: Rotational Monday- Sunday, flexible shift times

Responsibilities:
• Load and unload shipment of products from containers
• Ensure all equipment is received, checked, dispatched and issued in compliance with Company policy and procedures
• Conduct quality and quantity checks on all equipment. Report any defects on equipment to the Operations Supervisor.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods to match invoices
• Maintain storage, rotation and decanting of products
• Conduct inventory count and place orders for replenishment needs
• Compile inventory product replenishment lists as needed
• Organize and keep the cages in an orderly and hygienic manner
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at a height and climb ladders
• Must be able to multi task
• Attention to detail
• Must be flexible with work schedule and hours and adapt to schedule changes to accommodate operational requirements.

Qualifications
