Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: $99,500.00

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (or 6:30-3:00)

Work Hours & Travel

  • Supports a 24/7 operation therefore on call
  • Availability to work overtime



Position function:  Ensure that the entire operation and office in Brampton (facilities and equipment) operates safely, effectively and continuously

Key Accountabilities:

  • Reliable and skilled maintenance support for daily production operations
  • A High performing maintenance team
  • The development and implementation of an effective preventive maintenance program
  • Effective relationships with external contractors
  • Effective management of maintenance resources (parts, tools, supplies and services)
  • Successful installation of new equipment



Primary Duties & Responsibilities:    

  • Coordinate repairs of the production and support equipment using in-house mechanics or outside contractors.
  • Develop PM-schedule to minimize downtime of equipment related to equipment failure.
  • Coordinate all mechanics and outside contractors in repairing and maintaining all equipment in accordance with company and manufactures specifications
  • Maintain adequate supplies of spare parts and shop supplies to support the maintenance of the equipment
  • Coordinate the installation of new equipment in accordance with company and manufactures specifications
  • Order related spare parts and supplies used in the upkeep of the equipment.
  • Assist mechanics resolve issues when needed
  • Assist management in reaching the goals of the company

Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge

  • Post secondary education, specializing in a skilled trade
  • Five years’ experience supervising maintenance staff in a manufacturing environment
  • Valid drivers licence (G2)
