Full-time • Part-time • Casual
$21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Shifts available include:
• Day shifts
• Afternoon shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekends and statutory holidays

Front Line Work Force Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Social Service Workers (SSW) to support residents living in retirement residences, assisted living communities, and long-term care homes.
In this role, you will assist residents and their families by providing social support, advocacy, and access to community resources, while helping residents maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Our clients rely on caring professionals who can provide emotional support, facilitate social programs, and work collaboratively with care teams to support residents’ overall well-being.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents and families
• Assist residents with adjustment to residential living environments
• Promote independence and encourage participation in daily activities
• Assist with organizing and facilitating recreational and social activities
• Encourage resident engagement and participation in community programs
• Support programs designed to improve residents’ well-being and quality of life
• Work collaboratively with nurses, personal support workers, and other care team members
• Assist residents in accessing community resources and services
• Support individualized care and social support plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Report changes in residents’ emotional, behavioural, or social well-being
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams and family members
• Advocate for resident rights, dignity, and privacy
• Assist residents and families with concerns or questions regarding services
• Support a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all residents
Applicants must have:
• Social Service Worker (SSW) Diploma or related field
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Experience working with seniors, long-term care residents, retirement homes, or healthcare environments is considered an asset.
This role may require:
• Standing or walking for extended periods
• Assisting residents during activities and programs
• Light lifting and movement throughout the facility
