$18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Work Location

In-person – Oshawa, Ontario

Schedule

Steady shifts may be available; however, candidates must be willing to work rotational shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends (7 days per week) when required.

There is potential for full-time opportunities for the right candidates.


Position Overview

Front Line Work Force Inc. is currently seeking Child and Youth Workers (CYW) to support clients in a group home setting in Oshawa.

Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide care, support, and supervision to clients while assisting with daily living activities and participating in structured programs.

This role involves supporting adolescents and adults with behavioural and mental health challenges in a safe and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide care, supervision, and support to clients in a residential setting
• Assist clients with daily living activities and structured programming
• Support individuals experiencing behavioural or mental health challenges
• Promote a safe and supportive environment for residents
• Maintain professional communication with team members, residents, and families
• Document incidents and relevant client information as required
• Participate in team meetings and program planning
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• Diploma or degree from a recognized Child and Youth Worker (CYW), Social Service Worker (SSW), or related post-secondary program
• Level 1 First Aid and CPR Certification
• U.M.A.B Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
• Experience working with mental health or behavioural clients in a group home setting
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
