🏕 Work Environment: Residential camp supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Full-time • Part-time • Casual • Seasonal
Shifts available include:
• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
Flexible availability including weekends and rotating shifts may be required.
Front Line Work Force Inc. provides staffing support to agencies, organizations, and institutions that work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors who are experiencing behavioural, social, emotional, or psychiatric challenges.

Our client offers a residential camping program for individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing a supportive and inclusive environment where guests can enjoy recreational activities, social interaction, and community living.
Guests range in age from children to adults, and staff play an important role in ensuring each guest has a safe, engaging, and positive camp experience.
Front Line Work Force Inc. is currently seeking Personal Support Workers (PSW) to support guests participating in a residential camp program.
This role involves assisting individuals with personal care, daily routines, recreational activities, and emotional support, while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the camp experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, supporting people with disabilities, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
• Assist guests with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support mobility and physical assistance when required
• Ensure guests’ hygiene and personal comfort
• Assist guests with daily routines and activities
• Support dietary and healthcare needs as required
• Provide supervision and ensure safety during camp activities
• Participate in recreational and outdoor activities with guests
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities
• Encourage social interaction and participation
• Support guests using positive behaviour management strategies
• Maintain a calm and supportive environment
• Document incidents and report any concerns to supervisors
• Assist with guest reports and communication with families
• Communicate effectively with co-counsellors and program staff
Applicants must have:
• Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum two doses)
Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, special needs, or residential care environments is considered an asset.

• Standing or walking for extended periods
