Residential and Shelter Programs (Adults 18+)
Front Line Work Force Inc. is currently seeking Personal Support Workers (PSW) to support adults living in residential and shelter environments who are experiencing severe and persistent mental health challenges.
Successful candidates will provide daily supervision, assist with personal care when required, and support residents in maintaining stability, routine, and independence within a safe and structured environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and experienced working with mental health clients in residential settings.
• Provide daily supervision and support to residents
• Assist with personal care when required
• Support residents in maintaining routines and structure within the residence
• Ensure residents follow prescribed medication routines
• Witness medication intake and document where required
• Maintain cleanliness within the residence
• Perform household duties including cleaning, general maintenance, and organizing staff workspaces
• Complete daily logs, medication charts, and incident reports
• Maintain accurate documentation according to agency and Ministry standards
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required
• Assist residents with appointments and community participation
• Drive agency vehicles when required
• Provide emotional support and encourage independence
• Follow all agency policies, procedures, and Ministry guidelines
• Adhere to health and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
This role may require:
• Repetitive bending, twisting, and standing
• Walking and supervising residents for extended periods
• Light lifting when assisting residents
