Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) functions as a valuable member within a Long Term Care Home. The registered nurse is key in leading patient care and is responsible for meeting the medical needs of clients, including medication management.
Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
Demonstrated skill in effective crisis management
Demonstrated knowledge of psychopharmacology
Demonstrated knowledge of the mental health act, substitute decisions act, health care consent act, Personal Health Information Protection Act
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish therapeutic relationships with clients and team members
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning
Evidence of self-motivation, enthusiasm, and flexibility

Shifts: All shifts available

Pay Rate: $30.00/hr -$40.00/hr
