🏠 Work Environment: Residential group homes, supportive housing, and community programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and behavioural needs.

Shifts available Saturday and Sunday, with opportunities for additional shifts during the week.
• PSW / DSW / CYW: Starting at $21.00 per hour
• SSW: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Front Line Work Force Inc. is currently seeking compassionate and reliable weekend staff to support individuals living in residential and community-based programs.
Residents may include individuals experiencing developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, behavioural support needs, or complex care requirements.
Staff play an important role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment while helping individuals build independence and life skills.
This position is ideal for individuals looking for weekend work in healthcare or social services while making a meaningful impact in their community.
• Provide supervision and support to residents in residential environments
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care when required
• Support residents in maintaining routines and independence
• Assist with life skills development including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and community participation
• Encourage social engagement and positive coping strategies
• Support individuals experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges
• Use positive behaviour management and de-escalation techniques
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the residence
• Support daily household routines and shared living spaces
• Complete daily logs, incident reports, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Applicants must have one of the following:
• Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
• Developmental Service Worker (DSW) Diploma
• Child & Youth Worker (CYW) Diploma
• Social Service Worker (SSW) Diploma
Additional requirements:
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention or similar behaviour management training (asset)
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Experience working in residential care, community support, group homes, shelters, or mental health programs is considered an asset.
